DARTON

Darton for 2008 has refined its crossbows , the Storm and Lightning

The Storm comes in two configurations (150 and 175 lbs) and is a remarkable performer at 328 FPS (for the 150#) and 350 FPS (for the 175#) . Both speeds are measured with a 425 grain arrow.

The Lightning crossbow is available only in 175 LBS configuration and , thanks to a longer power stroke (17 1/2" versus 15 1/2" of its little brother Storm) can reach a blistering speed of 362 FPS.

The Lightning crossbow is also fitted with a removable , swiveling and telescopic front monopod that allows shooters to maintain proper aim even in difficult positions and a bowstring noise suppression system.

Both crossbow feature:

  • Darton EFLEX Quad limbs

  • Adjustable butt plate

  • Teflon impregnated aluminum barrel

  • Precision machined flight track

  • Patented anti dry fire mechanism

  •  Adjustable arrow retention system

  • Weaver scope mount

  • CNC machined front riser

  • Machined lightweight alloy cams

  • Built in attachment for 2 different cocking systems

  • Sims LimbSaver technology

Both models are finished in Realtree Hardwoods Green HD
