This year I decided to spend some time at the IWA Show in Nuremberg, Germany in order to see first hand some of the new products mayor crossbow and equipment manufacturers presented in the preceding weeks.

The IWA Show is Europe's foremost show for Outdoor, hunting shooting and related equipment, some numbers from the Show management for this year:

Display area
Gross: Approx. 55,580 m2

Products on display

I decided to go by car but it turned out to be a bad idea, since there were many many many people coming back to Germany after spendeng Sunday skying on Swiss alps, in the end it took something more than 8 hours to drive 600Km . Although , I have to be honest, I enjoyed every single mile as views of the Swiss alps and German countryside were simply charming.

As I arrived to Nuremberg most of the hotels close to the trade show were already fully booked, the Hotel Kuebler-Hof in nearby town of Wendelstein  proved to be a good choice as it is home of a very good typical German restaurant . Being also much less expensive than the ones close to the Show was also a welcome bonus
