BEAR & SON CUTLERY®’S NEW MODEL 444
GUTHOOK™ HUNTING KNIFE DESIGNED FOR
SERIOUS BIG GAME HUNTERS
No-Nonsense Design Stands Up to Abuse and the
Elements
Bear & Son Cutlery® has perfected the fixed-blade
big game hunting knife with the new model 444
Guthook™ knife. Measuring 8 3/4” long overall, the
knife features a hollow ground blade made of
high-carbon stainless steel, famed for being easy to
sharpen and for holding an edge longer than other
steels.
Serious hunters will appreciate
the 444’s super sharp drop point blade design, which
is perfect for skinning. A large, well-designed gut
hook makes field dressing a snap, allowing you to
gut the largest animals with ease without fear
of
slicing into the paunch.
The nearly indestructible knife has ergonomically
designed, wrap-around black Kraton® handles with
finger grooves providing a secure, non-slip grip
even when wet. Kraton offers many of the advantages
of natural rubber, but with much greater resistance
to weather, heat and chemicals.
The knife comes complete with an attractive
leather sheath. A serrated-blade model (444SR) is
also available, as are models incorporating handles
made of orange Kraton, laminated Camo Wood and
genuine India Stag Bone™ handles.
Like all Bear & Son Cutlery products, the 444
Guthook knife is proudly made in the U.S.A. in Bear
& Son Cutlery’s fully self-contained factory. Unlike
knife-makers who assemble knives from parts bought
from various suppliers, Bear & Son Cutlery does
everything in-house, from building blanking dies to
heat treating, grinding and assembly, and
hand-finishing of products. This allows Bear & Son
to maintain high standards of quality while offering
affordable products.
