Horton Mfg. has unveiled the 2007 lineup. One of the
most exciting news is the new Legacy .
Legacy is a new recurve crossbow, inspired by the
original design of 1959, that comes declined in
tree variants 225, 200 and 175. Legacy 225 and 200
share the exact same design with the 200 being 1
inch shorter in both maximum length and power stroke
and, of course bow poundage. As you can imagine the
numbering in the name is bow poundage.
The
Legacy 175 , although being similar is built on a
different platform, as it uses the stock of the
Legend family. Horton with the Legend family
introduces the SoundStopper™; these devices, made
from Horton’s SoundStopper material are mounted on
metal “prongs” connecting to the riser effectively
help stopping the string from over-travel, reduce
noise and virtually eliminates residual vibration
after the shot. The String Stumpers are also
standard feature on Horton’s flagship compound
model: Hunter HD 175.
Common features of the Legend Family are:
-
DP2™ CamoTuff™ laminated Lifetime guaranteed limbs
-
Talon™ ULTRA-LIGHT trigger
